Drenched in reverb and melancholy, Creek is an emo band from Denver Colorado drawing on influences including Balance and Composure, Title Fight, and Seahaven.

Creek was formed in 2015 by Jared Barnes to explore sounds coated with reverb and ambience. Barnes performed alongside a rotating live band on stages across the US through 2019, supporting the “Thirteen Hundred” and “Lucky Seven” EPs. Creek went on hiatus in late 2019 to write and record new music, culminating in their first full length album “Never Better”, released in 2020.

Creek reformed in 2023 to with a more aggressive and dynamic sound on “Shortsighted” and a pair of split EPs. Creek toured the Midwest in 2024 followed by a Midwest and East Coast tour in 2025 supporting these releases. Creek is recording their follow-up at Swadley Studios in Denver, CO.
